Oil-based inks

Oil inks offer several advantages over other types of inks. Firstly, they have good resistance to abrasion, moisture, chemicals and extreme temperatures, making them suitable for working in harsh industrial environments. Secondly, they produce sharp, long-lasting images, with a wide color gamut and good coverage on dark surfaces.

In recent years, packaging technology has been revolutionized by the inclusion of machines for cutting and preparing boxes in line. These new machines allow multi-colour in-line printing using oil-based HR inks, and are capable of multi-colour printing.
